NATION 2 NATION organizes rewarding educational and business group travel abroad. We are a rapidly growing organization that strongly believes in the knowledge and experience of our members to help drive our continued growth. We are currently hiring for the following positions. 

 

Company Background: NATION 2 NATION was founded in 2000. NATION 2 NATION is a program of the FRIENDS OF RUSSELL LATIMER, INC. founded in 1992.

 

Position Background:   A need has been identified to offer participants the opportunity to attend one of our certified training programs to award participants cultural exchange and a life rewarding experience. Unlike educational programs for high school students and college credit programs, Nation 2 Nation endeavors to provide participants the opportunity to be of service in a program whose main mission is the eradication of AIDS in Africa. NATION 2 NATION is uniquely placed with its network of volunteers and collaborating organizations.



Independent Distributor Representative Canada & USA

Position Description: We are seeing an Independent Distributor Representative to set up and operate Nation 2 Nation fund raisers and Awareness projects to increase funding and awareness of organization and its services. The responsibilities included: telemarketing, attending conferences/trade shows, running group meetings, servicing participants and visits to venues in both the US and Canada.

original one time Kit purchase: $10,000.00 USD. Compensation: 10 per cent of participant fees, 15 percent of funds generated. 

 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: OPERATIONAL DIRECTOR OF NATION 2 NATION PROJECT

 

 

 

BASIC FUNCTION

 

Responsible for the leadership, direction, supervision and evaluation of all admissions and

records functions, enrollment management, participant activities, counseling, financial arrangements, scholarships and participant programs and services. Responsible for participant development and

support services at all project sites, including participant services in the on-line program starting 2010. Develop and implement fund raising projects throughout the year.

 

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Administrator of the Nation 2 Nation Religious Worker Training Project Ghana.

Provide appropriate leadership for all participant services planning activities.

Maintain a high profile within the community.

Develop, monitor and maintain effective enrollment management processes and

procedures.

Develop church and community partnerships.

Supervise assigned staff and coordinate the delivery of programs and services.

Establish and chair advisory groups for programs and services as necessary.

Create strategies for the accomplishment of assigned responsibilities, participate in

the organization’s annual strategic planning processes, and work with faculty and staff to

develop both short and long-term goals and objectives for the participant services program and project.

Participate in the development of both the Organization and program and project budgets, monitor program and project spending and approve expenditures according to annual spending plans and prepare budget reports as needed.

Work closely with the President and religious leaders to create and maintain a participant centered curriculum, as well as programs and services.

Coordinate participant support activities.

Recommend appointments, transfers, promotions, disciplinary action, or termination of participants and subordinates; assign work, communicate job expectations and performance measures; conduct performance evaluations and plan for participant and volunteer

development of projects.

Plan and implement systematic evaluations of all programs and projects within participant services; actively participate in system audits, and other Organization evaluation processes. Prepare applicable reports.

Conduct studies to determine the effectiveness of participant development and support

programs and volunteers and Independent Distributor Representatives.

Assist in the development of grant proposals to provide unique funding to assigned

programs from outside governmental and private agencies.

Organize and conduct meetings with participant church members and with all members of the

Projects via telephonic conference or instant messaging conference.

Develop goals and strategies for accomplishing assigned responsibilities; actively

participate in Organization strategic and planning processes, develop personal professional

development goals.

Exhibit fiscal responsibility and accountability in the development and management of

budgets; monitor spending and approve expenditures according to annual spending plans;

perform budget revisions and prepare budget reports as necessary.

Represent the organization at conferences and workshops appropriate to the position.

Conduct reviews of all participant services programs on a scheduled basis.

.    Answerable to the Executive Director, President & Board of Directors

Perform other work related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong management skills, including a strong financial background, the ability to mange or

adapt to change, make difficult decisions, encourage conflict resolution, and assure

employee and department accountability.

Demonstrated ability to listen and evaluate employee/participant/community contributions to organization operations.

Successful experience as a mentor and team developer.

Successful experience building collaborative partnerships with various constituencies.

Demonstrated cultural competency, including successful experience working with diverse

groups.

 

Knowledge of:

Organizational leadership, team building, management, staff development and

communication techniques.

Participant services theory and practice.

Participant enrollment enhancement and retention techniques and strategies.

Participant success strategies.

Budget development and implementation at a program and project level.

Religious career and occupational issues.

Special services requirements.

Curriculum development at both the program level.

 

Ability to:

Provide administrative direction and supervision to program managers and staff.

Plan, develop, and administer participant services programs, policies and procedures, and

operational activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

College or university degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in an area appropriate to the responsibilities of the position or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of successful management experience in a supervisorial capacity.

Ability to perform counseling and case management and work with various cultures and diverse ethnicities.

 

Environment:

Independent in and off office environment with daily and weekly telephonic and or internet instant messenger meetings with President or Executive Director.

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

A full-time, 12-month, administrative position which reports to the President.

 

SALARY

Based upon commission, bonuses available periodically.

Average compensation $500.00 monthly with 10 per cent commission on all contracts and participants enrolled or received.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: CHAPTER COORDINATOR GHANA WEST AFRICA

 

This position is based at the NATION 2 NATION OFFICES IN GHANA WEST AFRICA.

  • Position Description: We are seeking a Chapter Program Coordinator, based in Ghana who will help recruit participants from West Africa, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. The duties include interviewing applicants and preparing orientation meetings with members on a monthly basis...airport pickups, arranging host families, arranging programs, and communicating regularly with our office in the US and participants abroad. We prefer a recent college graduate, although we are open to any candidates who are fluent in English and enthused about this unique opportunity. Training is provided.

Position Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a customer representative position or working in social services.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative part of a team.
  • Energy, drive, entrepreneurial thinking.

Responsible and answerable to Operational Director

Position compensation: $200.00 USD and ten per cent of all commissioned contracts.
